MIND-BODY HEALING
Using the Mind to Heal the Body
The Psychobiology of Mind-Body Healing

It is accepted by most that our thoughts and emotions can make us sick. It is then possible for us to use our thoughts and emotions, along with the wisdom of the body, the power of the subconscious, and one’s inner healers to facilatate healing. This is the premise of this workshop.

A Training Intensive
“ What we now know is that our entire biology is shaped by the intelligence of each of our fifty trillion cells. And the single most important way to influence them is through the energy of our beliefs.”                   Bruce H. Lipton, Cellular Biologist

The New Psychosomatic Medicine
There has been a series of fundamental breakthroughs in the field of neuro-biology related to emotion, memory and learning along with breakthroughs in the endocrinology of stress.  All of these breakthroughs have provided research and information for conceptualizing state-dependent memory (learning and behavior) as one of the major psychobiological foundations of health and disease.
This intensive explains and demonstrates how therapeutic hypnosis is creating a new science of mind/body healing.  Human memory, learning and behavior are encoded on many psychobiological levels in sickness and in health and are acquired in normal and traumatic circumstances.
The continuing research of psychoneuroimmunology strongly suggests that there is
a link between our thoughts and the function of our immune cells.  Understanding the psychobiological network and the mind-to-cell dynamic will enable us to facilitate optimal communication and healing.
There are many opportunities using guided imagery, progression and regression techniques, inner healers, inner physician, the wisdom of the body, and the power of the unconscienous mind and direct communication with cellular intelligence to facilitate your client’s healing.
The topics to be covered during this seminar include the psychobiology of mind/body communication; the placebo response; state-dependent learning; stress and psychosomatic phenomenon, and the language of mind/body communication. Mind/Body communication and healing of the autonomic nervous system, endocrine system, immune system, and how to direct the neuro-peptide system through communication with the subconscious for physical healing.
We will explore meaning and healing, psychosomatic medicine, psychosomatic networks including perception, pain, and pleasure.  The training will include specific protocols to use for pain control, to cure asthma and allergies, to treat arthritis, tumors, cysts, cancer, and how to mentally prepare your client for pre-surgery and post-surgery success and rapid recovery. How to reduce bleeding during surgery and how to relieve fear and stress associated with surgery. The approaches to healing sometimes-difficult health issues are often simple and direct. These systems will be taught to you during this seminar.
The training will include: a workbook, live demonstrations, audiotape sessions, videotape sessions, handouts with charts of the different systems and psychosomatic networks.  There will be people in attendance who have been treated successfully for asthma, allergies, lower back pain, chronic pain, cancer, headaches, breast cysts, and gynecological disorders. There will be a through discussion and demonstration of the application of idiomatic techniques and the methods of ideodynamic healing in hypnosis. You will learn how to use a pendulum to bypass the rational mind and access information through the sub-conscious. *
